The Blower motor is pretty basic much like an electric fan that you use in your home. The Blower motor has a power cord that needs a positive and a negative to operate. Once power is applied, the fan blade spins causing air to flow. |
TECH TIP |
If your blower motor only works on high or one or two speeds, then your Blower motor is OK, you need to replace the Blower Motor Resistor. If the Motor doesn't come on at all, you may need to replace the motor and resistor. |
DIAGNOSE |
Apply Battery Positive and Battery Negative directly to the Blower Motor to test for operation. No operation means its time to replace the blower motor. If the blower motor functions move to testing the blower motor resistor. |
REPLACE |
